If you Lost your Mom...

On Mother’s Day
You don’t always know
what to do or say

No buying her flowers
No writing her a sweet card
There is no big occasion or restaurant to book
No walks on the beach, sharing your thoughts

When you’ve lost your mom
Wake up and send a small prayer
Take some time to remember the joys that you shared

Take a moment to forgive
any lack of perfection you may have endured

Send a kiss, in your mind, a playful ray of sunshine to your mom

Her spirit may be watching you
May want to envelope you in a hug

She may send a sign, that you are on her mind

If you lost your mom
and everyone bubbles up with stories
of how they spent Mother’s Day

Be at peace, knowing when someday comes
and you leave your body here
your spirit will be free to soar

Free to join up with the spirit
of your Mom
your Grandma
and the delightful spirits of those who came before

Take a quiet moment to remember...
all the love that you felt
for your Mom, over the years

and give her the gift
of becoming your most amazing YOU...

Please share as you wish
